The Jackson County Board of Elections serves the public through the following:

Voter registration applications can be obtained at the BOE office in the Jackson County Justice Center Building, or by calling 828-586-4055, ext. 6035. You may also request an application by emailing – jackson.boe@ncmail.net You may also download the application from the State website – www.sboe.state.nc.us North Carolina does not allow on-line registration.

Public Awareness And Voting Machine Training
Any organization, club, group or individual may make an appointment for an educational class on Voter Registration, Election Process or Voting equipment. Please call at least seven (7) days in advance at 828-586-7538 to make an appointment. For large group requests, voting machines may be brought to your location. Call 828-586-7538 for Registration Drive materials and guidance.

Election results, laws, voter lists, sample ballots and all other public information for Jackson County may be obtained at the Jackson County Board of Elections Office, or at the State Board’s website – www.ncsbc.gov Requests are filled as soon as possible, but the law allows up to thirty (30) days. Please give ample notice on large orders. Requests by phone are accepted. Cost of materials varies. For more information, contact the Jackson County Board of Elections at 828-586-7538. Walk-ins are welcome.
